Everyone came dressed as cowboys or girls, with the odd mexican thrown in. The food and the dancing made the evening something special - with everyone joining in and having a great time. Birthday cake and bubbly finished a memorable evening

When Anne asked to use our visitors centre at Fowlescombe for her 40th birthday party, we got together and devised a great low cost evening for 40 - 50 guests. Debbie did the outside catering - she has choices from £6 per head up to £15 per head - and the food is all personally cooked and just delicious. We looked at two or three choices for entertainment - disco, live band, etc. What turned out to be a brilliant choice was a local band who ran a barn dance. In between the dancing they played excellent music to accompany the evenings theme of Country and Western. Anne arranged a licence to cover the event, and friends ran a 'non profit making pay for your drinks' bar. Barbara helped Debbie with the food and serving.

Note. Richard made a photographic record of the evening. By the end of the evening he had a photo gallery of the event displayed on the wall for each to see their our image. A CD was produced for the guests to record a super evening.
