The farm had very run down old fashioned barns, that were structurally in reasonable shape but not good enough for the animal welfare standards required to today. in particular one could not house a lot of animals in them because of the lack of good ventilation. We occasionally use one old barn to house a quarantined or sick animal, or to out a few rams in the bad weather. These old barns will eventually be repaired and turned into two dwelling houses, a meeting room for visiting groups and the rest into storage
