Derbyshire Redcaps - rare breed chickens

There are only a few hundred of these rather nice chickens left. As richard was brought up in Derbyshire we thought it nice to get some and help the breeding progamme. Peter Hayford and I got a few from a rare breed centre in Berkshire that was closing down. With another breeder we have now exchnaged cockeral and bred around 40 young chicks. One clutch has already gone off to a loacl teenager, who is going to breed from them
