Part of our original herd of Devon Ruby Reds

We have long wanted to have another top class breed of cattle which will thrive on on non fertilised land. We looked to get some Ruby Reds last year, but were advised that many of those for sale were not of good quality. This year was different. At the Autumn Devon Cattle Breeders Association sale we managed to get a few really nice heifers, and have bought some more since. It takes a while bring them on site, as we always like to have them tested before bring them on - we are running a predominantly closed herd, so have to be very careful.
