The Farmhouse (Please be patient - a large image will load)

The original farmhouse (early 19th century), some animal barns and derelict cottages were enclosing a small courtyard. These have been restored and linked together to create the new farmhouse using a blend of traditional materials and techniques in parts and modern materials and construction in other areas.

The picture on the left was taken in October 2008 at 8:00 a.m. as the sun was rising, from the front lawn of the house

The Farmhouse Garage

The farm house garage. The remains of an old cart shed have become the farmhouse garage, built on traditional lines with green oak beams and a slate roof. This was the first building to be re-built, as we needed a secure place to keep things.
