We are keen to encourage activities that use less or no petrol / diesel. For a start the estate is large with many opportunities for walks and some for cycling. We supply maps of the estate, and will tell visitors where good walks are for their interest and fitness level. Areas to avoid will also be pointed out - e.g. fields with bulls, rams, or cows with new born calves, or where field operations are in process. Guest are very welcome to store their cycles in either the garage near the cottages or in the Implement Barn in the farm yard - in either event the guest will be given a key to ensure that their cycles are safe.

There are some nice walks around the farm, by public footpaths and local byways, such as to Ugborough village and North Huish
