The Function Room is not suitable for anyone who is wheelchair bound on their own, but may be OK to those who still have some mobility. Given the limitations of the lovely old barn we converted and building regulations, we did what we could as explained below and illustrated by some photographs and covered by our detailed access statement as a downloadable pdf Access to all the main doors can be achieved by wheelchair. There is a normal stair with a hand rail to get between floors or you can get around the building up a slope to switch between floors by wheel chair. The normal car park for visitors is at the end of the garden area or in front of the main house. Access to the main room is across a level bridge with easy access from where you park. There is a path with a wheelchair friendly ramp from one of the car parking areas all the way into the courtyard (about 40 metres see photos) from which there is access into the the downstairs of the Centre, which includes a utility area, kitchen and the disabled shower room & toilet.
